Torre del Mar is a town on the Malaga coast, located in the municipality of Vélez-Málaga, located in the Axarquía region. It is located 33km east of Malaga capital.
Torre del Mar and its surroundings offer a wide variety of restaurants, beach bars and bars. Also where you can calmly have a wine, a drink or a delicious cake and coffee, and of course there is also ice cream.
Torrox es un municipio y localidad de España, se encuentra en Andalucía a 42km de Málaga Capital y a ---km del Aeropuerto de Málaga.
Torrox Costa está situado a orillas del mar mediterráneo y el Pueblo a pie de la sierra de Almijara. Tiene una superficie de 50km2, y actualmente 18.937 habitantes (2022).
También esta conocido por tener el mejor clima de Europa, ya que tiene temperaturas sub tropicales, con veranos secos y de temperaturas que rar vez exceden de los 30ºC e inviernos templados con una media de 19ºC.

La Playa El Morche ( Paseo Marítimo, Bares y Chiringuitos). Logitud de 1200metros y una anchura de 50 metros.
La Playa Ferrara, una playa muy extensa y bien equipada, con ambiente familiar.
La playa Calaceite, una playa pequeña con una longitud de 400 metros y una anchura de 30 metros, junto a la carretera N-340, no cuenta apenas con ningún equipamiento, más bien todavía una playa más virgen.
La Playa El Peñoncillo, tiene una longitud de 1400 metros y una anchura de 30 metros, una hermosa playa extensa y poco urbanizada, con algunos servicios.

Desde Torrox, se pueden hacer numerosas rutas de senderismo para descubrir la Axarquía o llegar hasta el Parque Nacional de la Sierra de Almijara, Tejeda y Alhama, siguiendo la llamada “Puerta Verde Torrox-Frigiliana- Sierra de Almijara”.
Con el punto de partida en el extremo norte de Torrox, en el cruce de la Calle del Pontil, discurriendo todo su itinerario por el Camino viejo de Granada. Una distancia de aprox. 6km.
Para los más atrevidos recomendamos otra ruta de Torrox hasta Nerja, La Gran Senda, Etapa 4: Torrox -Nerja, empezando también el extremo norte del pueblo de Torrox hacia Nerja, pasando por el puente de las Animas, llegando hasta el Mirador de Torrox, luego siguiendo por el Camino del Puerto, el Mirador de Sierra Almijara y Nerja, pasando por el Rio Chillar hasta llegar a Nerja. Aprox. 12km.

The town of Alcaucín extends its lands in the north of Axarquía, between the Sierra de Tejeda and the relief of the Periana corridor, between the spectacular “Boquete de Zafarraya” and the mountains of Axarquía.
Zalia Castle, the ruins of the Zalia castle rise in front of the urban center of Alcaucín, on the other side of the river, on a gentle hill, on the historic Nasrid royal road that linked the Granada metropolis with Malaga.

In Alcaucín and Venta Baja there is something for young and old. After a hike you have to come back for strength. The restaurants here are ideal for this.
You can find good, traditional food almost everywhere here and usually cheaper than on the coast. The atmosphere is also ensured. In the Restaurante El Horno there are live music performances on Wednesdays and dancing on Thursdays.
You'll also find a great Indian restaurant nearby and tons of other culinary experiences.
Caleta de Velez is a small town east of Torre del Mar. It is known for its fishing and marina port, where you can rent a boat, an excursion or simply enjoy its fantastic bars and restaurants near the port.
On Saturday mornings there is always a market on the parallel street of Avenida de Andalucía, and in the afternoon you can enjoy live music after a delicious lunch. Apart from the port and good restaurants, Caleta de Velez also offers something for golf lovers. Here we have the Bavaria Golf Club with 18 holes
